Starting a youtube channel, patreon and getting on top of social media

Hello everyone! It’s mid-July already, why is summer speeding by?! For the past month I’ve been a busy bee creating my art shop and I wanted to share with you all how that’s going.

I did something very fun… I launched my patreon and my first youtube video! I’m using these platforms as an opportunity to build my skills and start a community. I am very excited about patreon because I’m doing sticker mail! I’ll be designing a themed set of products that my patrons get exlusively depedinng on their pledge level.

For the past month, I vowed to myself that I would draw freely and not care about the likes, the quality, or the views, I would just draw to nourish my inner child. And… it worked. I really love drawing again! I think a lot of us get caught up what others might think of us and our work and that just stifles creativity, it’s really important to draw a lot and draw badly and not be afraid to show it.

I’m also designing greeting cards, art prints, and lots of stickers. I’ll be sharing more on my instagram!
